Questions about Algebra for All in the 8th Grade ?

The updated standards expose all our students to a higher level of mathematics in the intermediate and middle grades. Because topics now taught in 6, 7, 8 are so foundational for success in high school mathematics and beyond, districts on Long Island are joining others by developing a secondary acceleration pathway with a later decision point that requires less compacting than traditional middle school acceleration.
